The Neurological Surgery residency program utilizes the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to review all applications. Applications are due October 1st the year preceding the match deadline. Selected applicants will be notified via email and will be asked to choose one interview date from a list of four dates; which are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Scheduled applicants are invited to attend a cocktail hour with faculty and residents and have dinner alone with the residents the evening prior to interview day to mingle and learn about the program from the resident’s perspective. On interview day, applicants will interview one-on-one with each neurosurgery faculty member and select residents for approximately 20 minutes. The day will conclude with a tour of the Medical Center. After the final interview date, participating faculty and residents meet to determine the rank order list of applicants and will submit the list to the NRMP.
