Portrait of Dr. Ksendzovsky

Alexander Ksendzovsky, MD PhD

Principal Investigator

I am a neurosurgeon and clinician-scientist who specializes in surgical treatments for epilepsy, movement disorders, psychiatric illness, and brain tumors. My primary research interest is centered on epilepsy, a condition affecting millions of people globally and manifesting in life-debilitating seizures. To gain a deeper understanding of the underlying molecular and physiological causes of epilepsy, I employ a comprehensive approach that encompasses electrophysiology, MRI imaging, and protein analysis. My ultimate goal is to apply this knowledge in clinical settings to enhance seizure diagnosis and develop personalized, targeted therapies for affected individuals.
